We are seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant - Estimator to enhance our operations. Established in Australia since 1921, Lysaght is renowned for manufacturing and marketing steel building solutions that have significantly contributed to the nation's architectural landscape.

This role offers an excellent blend of sales expertise, design acumen, and relationship-building with both residential clients and industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As a representative of BlueScope, you will provide expert guidance and design drafting services. Your role will encompass a combination of direct sales and customer service, engaging with builders, tradespeople, and DIY enthusiasts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing architectural plans and specifications to prepare material estimates using our internal CAD system for design and quotation generation.
  • Assisting clients in their purchasing decisions by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including transport, warehouse, and sales, to meet customer expectations regarding product specifications, special packaging, and delivery schedules.
  • Managing client interactions through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails, while addressing quotes and inquiries.
  • Welcoming clients to the showroom and ensuring a professional sales experience.
