We are seeking a skilled ERSEA Program Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThe ERSEA Program Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of assigned program participants with ERSEA-related Head Start Performance Standards.
- This involves administering, supervising, coordinating, and organizing work related to Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) of assigned program participants.
The ERSEA Program Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring policies, procedures, work plans, and systems related to ERSEA to ensure compliance and maintain full enrollment.
- Reviewing community assessment data, enrollment trends, and other relevant information to inform program design, recruitment strategies, and enrollment guidelines.
- Supporting the development of the program's Enrollment and Recruitment Plan.
- Creating and maintaining record-keeping and reporting policies for waitlists, enrollment, attendance, timelines, and procedures.
- Monitoring income verification and eligibility qualifications, ensuring data integrity in the ChildPlus database.
- Ensuring applications are complete, accurately entered, and timely processed.
- Analyzing enrollment data regularly, producing reports, and collaborating with staff to address any issues.
- Monitoring demographic data such as over-income and disability percentages to meet performance standards.
- Collaborating with program staff to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Developing and facilitating staff training on data quality and ERSEA policies.
- Reviewing family files, conducting monitoring visits, and developing corrective action plans as needed.
- Promoting daily attendance and data entry procedures through resources and outreach.
- Maintaining current enrollment forms and participating in developing recruitment strategies and outreach efforts.
- Building community relationships to support enrollment and developing an effective recruitment plan.
- Leading program-wide meetings and providing staff training on ERSEA policies and procedures.
- Guiding Family Service Assistants and Center Leadership in ERSEA responsibilities and evaluations.
- Participating in agency-wide projects, including assessments, strategic planning, and professional development.
- Developing and distributing ERSEA reports for monitoring and goal setting.
