This is a pivotal leadership role that requires a seasoned people professional to drive organisational change and shape a high-performing, engaged workforce.
The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and work in close partnership with the Executive Team to serve as principal adviser on all workforce-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Executive Team on employee relations, culture development and organisational design.
- Lead strategic initiatives including employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, and remuneration.
- Oversee core HR operations including recruitment, enterprise bargaining, complex employee relations matters and compliance with applicable laws and awards.
- Manage payroll delivery in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring accurate and compliant execution.
- Present regular updates to Board committees and act as the HR conduit to the Board.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll functions within a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with employee relations, including enterprise bargaining and industrial instruments.
- Proven track record of leading organisational change and transformation initiatives.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment law, HR best practice and WHS frameworks.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Law, Psychology or a related field.
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and willing to undertake a criminal history check.
