Job Opportunity:

Pearl Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well-regarded consultancy supporting major players in the mining and resources sector.

This role offers a great opportunity to join a collaborative and professional team working across multiple projects with tier-one mining clients.

About the Role:

  • Provide vital contract support across a wide portfolio of projects.
  • Review and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Support project teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day contract administration and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contract terms; maintain and update clarification registers.
  • Coordinate commercial correspondence and ensure all supporting documentation is managed effectively.
  • Support contract award, project setup, and sign-off documentation.
  • Assist project teams with compliance, performance tracking, and key project meetings (kick-offs, reviews, close-outs).
  • Engage and assess subcontractors in line with head contract obligations.
  • Prepare and process payment claims, invoices, and variations.
  • Contribute to commercial and project reporting, including KPIs, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Assist with pre-qualifications and tender submissions.
  • Deliver internal reporting on costs, hours, and forecasting.

About You:

  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role (2+ years for more senior applicants).
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts within mining/resources or infrastructure.
  • Confident in reviewing contracts and leading clarifications with clients (essential at higher levels).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Work Arrangements:

  • Full-time preferred, however part-time may be considered for the right candidates.
  • The role is based in a central office location, close to public transport.
