Job Description

The Assistant Data Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining and reporting on program data that informs decision-making across government and community networks.

This temporary, full-time role is based in Parramatta/Sydney or Lismore (other locations negotiable), with flexible/hybrid working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating data collections generated by funding programs within the Community Recovery branch. They will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data used in internal and external reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience in managing and updating data collections.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Skills in preparing data for reports and responding to information requests.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with formulas, filters and manipulating large datasets.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power Suite for automation and visualisations is favourable.
