Delivering high-quality specialist low vision assessments, training and other interventions is at the heart of our mission. Our team members work collaboratively to enable clients with vision impairment to maximise the use of their residual vision.

Key to this role is working with clients to provide individualised, evidence-based low-vision services that promote independence, enable the achievement of their identified goals and align to relevant internal and industry practice standards.

We are committed to establishing and maintaining referral pathways for Low vision services via referrers, professionals and community groups.

Effective administration, including rostering and report writing via our customer relationship management tool, is also essential.

Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Orthoptics or equivalent, be registered as an Orthoptist with the Australian Orthoptic Board and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Teamwork, flexibility and effective time management are also vital in this role.
