Heavy Rigid Fuel Driver

Join our team of professional fuel delivery specialists to drive and load heavy rigid vehicles transporting bulk fuels to industrial, commercial, agricultural and retail customers.

As a Heavy Rigid Fuel Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting large quantities of fuel across various routes. You will perform daily vehicle checks and manage fatigue levels while ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation and delivery of bulk fuel products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Loading and unloading of fuel products at depots and customer sites.
  • Conducting pre-delivery checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure readiness for transport.
  • Managing driving hours, fatigue, and log book duties as per regulations.
  • Developing strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Adhering to safety standards and guidelines within the workplace.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current HR (Heavy Rigid) License.
  • Previous experience in fuel transportation advantageous but not essential.
  • Dangerous Goods License considered beneficial.
  • SLP and BFM Statements of Attainment may be an asset.
  • Commercial Driver Medical Fitness Certificate required.
  • Good driving record and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
