Job Overview:
As Assistant Principal Special Education, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with diverse support needs. Our school fosters a strong partnership between school and community, creating a collaborative environment where everyone thrives.

Our team places an emphasis on student-centred learning, leveraging play-based approaches in the early years and outdoor environments K-6 to boost engagement and wellbeing. Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and Zones of Regulation are integral parts of our approach, supporting students' emotional and social development.
The successful candidate will possess experience in leading a support unit, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and exhibit a keen ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders. They must also show sensitivity towards the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and those from low socio-economic status communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the improvement of learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with diverse support needs
- Develop and implement high-quality differentiated curriculum
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to achieve common goals
Requirements:
