About this Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Delivery Specialist to join our team at the University of Newcastle. This role will involve working closely with key stakeholders to ensure high-level execution of operational management, performance tracking, and strategic reporting.

The successful candidate will lead a team of support specialists, fostering a collaborative culture to deliver quality services across multiple areas.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitoring performance metrics, ensuring effective management of resources, budgets, and reporting are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Supporting service delivery operations by maintaining dashboards, monitoring KPIs, and delivering meaningful insights to inform decision-making.
  • Partnering with teams to ensure alignment with strategic plans, and sourcing accurate information to support reporting.

This is a full-time position located at the Callaghan Campus.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and producing meaningful reports that support high-level decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and source critical information.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to think strategically while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting IT Program, Project and Service Delivery in a complex environment.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as ServiceNOW PPM, Jira and Confluence is highly regarded.
