MASS Technical Service Representative Role Overview

As a MASS Technical Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering hands-on support and technical expertise to ensure the success of every deliverable to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in one or more disciplines of Armament, Avionics, Electronics, and Mechanical, with a comprehensive technical understanding and the ability to learn the Rheinmetall MASS System quickly.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing inspection and pre-assembly checks of MASS and components prior to production and integration;
  • Performing pre- and post-shipment technical inspections of MASS and components; assisting with warranty reports for stakeholders;
  • Completing production documentation and test protocols related to MASS, start-up, and commissioning;
  • Investigating and resolving start-up issues during final integration, testing, commissioning, and FAT processes;
  • Preparing MASS technical reports and assisting with quality investigations;
  • Maintaining safe storage of parts, tools, and equipment; supporting materials team in parts movement, delivery, and inspection;
  • Performing work at other facilities, including customer and supplier sites;
  • Delivering and supporting comprehensive training plans and documentation;
  • Providing end-user/operator training for employees/stakeholders;
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert for MASS technical training;
  • Leading internal MASS training for peers;
  • Engaging in program meetings and reporting on operational actuals;
  • Performing other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum Certificate 4 in Armament, Avionics, Electronics, or Mechanical;
  • Extensive training and assessment experience in a technical field or the ability to obtain it;
  • Proven experience in technical training;
  • Strong technical understanding and quick learning ability;
  • Excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with high emotional intelligence;
  • Eligibility for Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
