We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

The role involves providing technical support services for MinVu, a mining management software that captures, validates, augments and normalises data. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 15 hours per day, with a focus on providing high-quality support to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analysing customer reporting and data sources to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues throughout the ticket life-cycle
  • Managing customer escalations in accordance with agreed SLAs and support agreements
  • Maintaining a central knowledge base of known support issues
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • SQL Server Management experience including MSSQL and T-SQL is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of data analytic tools such as Excel, Power BI etc
  • Prior experience providing application support would be advantageous
  • Exposure to the mining industry would be highly regarded
  • ITIL Certifications and experience would be highly regarded
  • A strong written and verbal command of English is essential
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia
