NDIS Program Lead Role

This role is designed to support the Mental Health Division in achieving NDIS-readiness across the organization.

The successful candidate will act as the key point of contact with the National Disability Insurance Agency local office and Local Area Coordination partner, providing strategic guidance and ensuring seamless collaboration.

  • Spearhead NDIS-readiness initiatives within the Mental Health Division
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including the National Disability Insurance Agency local office and Local Area Coordination partner

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a thorough understanding of the NDIS Act (2013), National Disability Standards, and the needs of mental health consumers, their families, and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

Support NDIS-readiness: Develop and implement strategies to enhance NDIS-readiness across the Mental Health Division.

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience: Applicants must hold a relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline and current registration with AHPRA.
