Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people, including assisting with personal care, mobility, and skill development, building meaningful connections and providing mentorship and emotional support, supporting community participation and recreational activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans, advocating for customer rights and promoting independence, and creating safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services, a current First Aid and CPR Certificate, a valid Driver's Licence, and a reliable vehicle. They will also possess strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, and be flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
