Job Opportunity

Pearson Allied Health Services specialise in providing allied health services to individuals with disabilities, offering a flexible service that can take place in various settings.

As an Educator, you will build relationships by providing and responding to feedback from participants and their support networks. You will work collaboratively across services to build capacity and support individuals to achieve their identified needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and deliver individualised and group capacity building supports for people with complex therapeutic needs.
  • Support skills development, teaching functional life skills, including communication, social, self-care, daily living, recreation, employment, and community skills.
  • Create capacity building programs for implementation and develop resources and innovative practices for people with disabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to facilitate knowledge transfer and produce high-quality participant progress reports and support plans as required.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications meeting NDIS requirements, including but not limited to: Bachelor's degree in Disability & Developmental Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current clearance, COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, and right to work in Australia.
  • Experience in working within the Disability sector is desirable.
