
Senior Hardware Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing electronic projects from concept to manufacture, including schematic capture, PCB layout, verification, and test.
- Providing expert guidance to clients and project teams throughout the design process.
- Contributing to the development of our hardware team by improving their capabilities and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Maintaining quality standards in line with our company's quality management system.
- Estimating current and potential work for the hardware team.
- Reviewing technical designs and documents for electronics projects.
- Serving as the primary technical contact for clients and project managers on electronics-related matters.
- Improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems, and documentation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A relevant degree from a reputable University (e.g. Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
- At least 7 years of experience as a professional electronics design engineer.
- Registration as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria).
- Competence in designing analog and digital electronics.
- Experience in designing electronic products from concept to manufacture.
- Proficiency in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
