**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating hardware activities, ensuring equipment performance, process efficiency, and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Hardware Management: Manage and coordinate hardware activities including installations, de-installations, moves, changes, and removals of IT, Security, and Networking equipment.
- Equipment Performance: Monitor, analyse, and improve equipment performance, data centre environments, and procedural compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, site diagrams, and reports while supporting problem/change identification and resolution.
- Liaison and Support: Liaise with support teams and skill groups, ensuring seamless delivery of hardware co-ordination activities.
- On-call Support: Provide business and non-business hours support through shared on-call arrangements.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement efficiency improvements to processes, procedures, and service delivery.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration, experience with networking hardware and cabling standards, experience within data centre facilities and environmental monitoring tools.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, and Word.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills, ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotations.
- Data Centre Experience: Proven track record managing hardware and infrastructure within data centre environments.
- Team Liaison: Experience liaising across multiple teams and managing service delivery standards.
- Compliance and Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance, procedural accuracy, and operational efficiency.
