About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Banker to join our team, supporting the delivery of our ME Business Plan by turning leads into great customer outcomes.

The successful candidate will focus on growing the portfolio and exceeding acquisition targets while proactively managing prospective and existing customers to retain and refer business. This is achieved through living the Customer Promises, being quick and easy to deal with, expertly managing quality and risk, and ensuring customers are informed every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage leads through the appointment, application process, and up until settlement.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end lead management process and presenting appropriate solutions to customer enquiries.
  • Achieve all customer outcomes with business objectives and customers' best interests top of mind.
  • Constant communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage own portfolio in an appropriate manner to ensure customers are contacted post-settlement and beyond.
  • Work with internal partners within ME to help support a great customer experience.

About You

Working for us is fun and fast-paced, and we are seeking a curious team member to take the ME Bank team to where we want to go. Given the nature of the work, we are looking for an experienced lender with technically sound knowledge in banking products, credit assessment, and lending principles.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management with high-level and efficient customer service.
  • Highly organised and live and breathe process efficiency, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to keep cool, calm, and collected under pressure and work towards tight deadlines.

Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$90,000 per annum
