Community Kids Cessnock Early Education Centre is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in menu planning, dietary requirements, and ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.

As a Cook at Community Kids Cessnock Early Education Centre, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals and snacks for up to 104 children each day. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all menus meet nutritional guidelines and are tailored to meet the needs of our young learners.

Job Description:

The Cook role involves: preparing and cooking nutritious meals and snacks for children; maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment; following strict food safety procedures; working collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals; and contributing to the overall success of the centre.

  • Availability to work set shift days and times Monday to Friday.
