As a leading player in the data centre industry, we are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice across various aspects of our business, including sales, marketing, intellectual property, general contract, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and preparing commercial agreements, including sales and supplier contracts
  • Developing policies, procedures, and training programs for staff on relevant legal issues
  • Engaging with management and external advisors to evaluate, structure, and document future business opportunities
  • Managing our property portfolio, including negotiating and managing leases with tenants and ensuring adequate insurances are maintained

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 4-8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar field
  • A Bachelor of Laws/JD and admission in relevant State/Territory
  • Previous experience in general corporate and commercial contract reviews
  • Understanding of property law/management
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant acts and legislation
  • Strong working knowledge of building services, developments, and trends to assess possible implications on tenancy, financial, and physical aspects
  • Excellent contract management, negotiation, and influencing skills
