Property Management Advisor – Inland RailJoin to apply for the Property Management Advisor role at Inland Rail.The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne, incorporating new and existing rail track.
The program includes upgrading standard gauge track, enhancing it to cater for double stacking, and constructing new standard gauge links comprising viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.About the opportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Management Advisor to join the team.
You will provide support to the Property Portfolio Manager and the property team in the acquisition, management and divestment of real estate, including coordination of relevant property and legal issues arising from the NSW and Qld Inland Rail program of works.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and implement property management strategies to maximise the value and performance of the real estate portfolio.Assist in the maintenance of the property management policies and procedures.Liaise with, and attend meetings with local and state authorities, internal and external stakeholders in relation to property management matters.Prepare instructions to internal and external legal teams to facilitate drafting of Agistment and Occupation Licences in accordance with NSW and Qld legal obligations.Ensure all required property management databases are maintained and undertake property administrative tasks as required.Develop, coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making and strategy development.Coordinate tenants move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.About YouThe successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, a depth of knowledge of property laws and valuation principles in Qld & NSW, and the ability to problem solve and resolve stakeholder issues with empathy.
