Job Title: Head of Group Marketing

Location: Melbourne

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Group Marketing to join our client in the hospitality and entertainment sector. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving national growth by overseeing all marketing activities, including national campaigns, local plans, and new venue launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Manage and grow a marketing team, advocate for team achievements, and elevate the leadership profile within the industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and oversee the annual marketing calendar, create opening campaigns for new venues, and generate innovative marketing ideas aligned with business goals.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage marketing budgets to maximize revenue, track allocations, and ensure effective resource use.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop compelling ad copy, oversee external marketing resources, and analyze performance on platforms like Google and Facebook for data-driven decision-making.
  • Campaign & Lead Generation: Design strategic campaigns and B2B initiatives to drive revenue and lead generation, manage market research, and ensure consistent branding.
  • Brand Management: Direct brand development, manage rebranding efforts, and enhance website performance.
  • PR & Partnerships: Collaborate with PR teams, build social proof, and establish commercial partnerships to elevate brand presence.

About You:

  • Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of senior marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or e-commerce.
  • Proven leadership, digital marketing expertise, and strong skills in B2B marketing and brand development.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and creative problem-solving abilities.
