About the Role

This rehabilitation specialist position involves working with a variety of clients across different sectors, including both private and public organizations. Involving local travel, this role requires a blend of specific one-off assessments such as Vocational Assessments, Labour Market Assessments, Psychological Pre-Employment Assessments, and Case Management Activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Rehabilitation case management for clients
  • Single service assessments
  • Negotiating positive outcomes for multiple stakeholders
  • Assisting injured workers in returning to suitable paid employment
  • Facilitating independence in workers to return to work
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology or rehab counseling
  • Eligibility for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or eligibility for ASORC membership
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong aptitude for time management and goal-setting
  • Strong report writing abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A positive, solution-focused outlook
