Church Partnerships Manager

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic partnerships manager to strengthen and grow church relationships, inviting them to deepen their mission through child sponsorship.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader with a deep commitment to Christ, a heart for the Church, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, activate, and develop new church partnerships in Sydney and regional centres;
  • Cultivate, nurture, and grow existing partnerships with churches in Sydney and regional centres;
  • Evaluate, identify, and implement local initiatives aligned with national strategies to enhance the mission of Compassion and meet partner needs;
  • Collaborate closely with other Compassion team members and the Strategic Partnerships department;
  • Regularly plan, prepare, and lead Compassion presentations at churches in Sydney and regional centres;
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Compassion's volunteer presenter team in NSW;
  • Participate in domestic or international travel with strategic partners to facilitate increased understanding and engagement with Compassion's work.
