Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist

The role of an Employee Relations Specialist in our Legal team is to manage high-risk/complex cases end-to-end and provide expert advice and guidance to ensure matters are resolved efficiently and professionally.

This position involves diverse responsibilities, including advocacy, enterprise agreement bargaining, project work, workplace investigations, and whistleblower matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end management of high-risk complex cases
  • Representing and advocating for the organization in tribunals or regulatory bodies
  • Conducting confidential workplace investigations and supporting leaders with grievance and disciplinary matters
  • Providing stakeholders with specialist advice on policies, procedures, industrial instrument interpretation, employment risks, and other high-risk/complex employment-related issues

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrated ability in Employee Relations within a fast-paced and complex organization, with strong experience in case management, investigations, and understanding of SLAs
  • Demonstrated experience in advocacy and enterprise agreement bargaining
  • Exceptional knowledge of current workplace legislations, modern awards, and relevant regulations
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information professionally
