Role Overview

As a Donor Relationship Officer, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with mid-level donors to drive financial engagement. IJM is a global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a portfolio of 600-700 mid-level donors using relationship-based strategies.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence Team to tier donor portfolios based on activity and capacity.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies, including giving history, future revenue goals, and marketing communications touchpoints.
  • Identify passions, interests, and communication preferences to tailor relationships.
  • Attract, convert, and retain new mid-level donors, as well as re-engage previously supportive individuals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of proven experience delivering results in fundraising or sales environments.
  • Proven track record of effectiveness as a collaborator on cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing, tracking, and reporting on donor portfolios and their financial efforts.
  • Experience with cultivation, portfolio management, and moves management.
