Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Category Operations Specialist to join our expanding team. As a key member of our Category Management team, you will play a critical role in driving process optimization, managing impactful projects, and supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving category management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • System Implementation: Select, implement, and maintain systems and tools to support category management activities while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage category-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on category management strategies and successful project execution.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices, creating a centralized knowledge base. Provide technical support and training to team members, enabling effective utilization of tools and systems.
  • Support and Assistance: Assist the Head of Category and team members with various tasks, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Risk Management: Track project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement solutions to mitigate them effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in data management or collaboration tools, with experience in Category Management tools or software being highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of data analysis and market research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in both remote and team-based settings.
  • Adaptability to change, strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
