Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Category Operations Specialist to join our Category Management team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in driving process optimization, managing impactful projects, and supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying opportunities for improving category management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Selecting, implementing, and maintaining systems and tools to support category management activities while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Leading and managing category-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on category management strategies and successful project execution
  • Developing and maintaining clear documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices, creating a centralized knowledge base
  • Providing technical support and training to team members, enabling effective utilization of tools and systems
  • Assisting the Head of Category and team members with various tasks, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Tracking project progress, identifying risks or issues, and implementing solutions to mitigate them effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proficiency in data management or collaboration tools, with experience in Category Management tools or software being highly desirable
  • Good understanding of data analysis and market research methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in both remote and team-based settings
  • Adaptability to change, strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in all tasks
