About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional transport and distribution services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the allocation of deliveries to suitable vehicles
  • Ensure freight is presented to drivers in required locations and check for damages
  • Develop efficiencies with customer staff to meet KPIs and improve the customer-client relationship
  • Communicate allocation plans to stakeholders as required
  • Manage driver performance, including leave and absenteeism, and escalate recurring issues to management
  • Deliver regular toolbox talks and facilitate two-way communication with delivery partners
  • Facilitate training and development of drivers as required
  • Devise strategies to ensure service standards are met
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed within allotted timeframes each day
  • Communicate operational problems to the On-Site Manager promptly
  • Ensure delivery partner scanning and MDT compliance
  • Facilitate POD retrieval from drivers on behalf of customers
  • Ensure driver compliance with customer and TGE policies and procedures, including HSE and Chain of responsibility obligations
  • Manage driver and vehicle presentation standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Respond to customer service or operational enquiries quickly and effectively
  • Complete daily and weekly reports as required
