Job Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, or Perth. This role will involve pre- and post-contract client-facing duties for Real Estate, Defence, and Infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing MEP cost planning, estimating, and reporting;
  • Commissioning experience;
  • Tender analysis;
  • Procurement and contract advisory services;
  • Commercial reporting and variation assessment;
  • Team training and best practices;
  • Leading complex projects and programs as the key client interface;
  • Developing working relationships, problem-solving, and driving projects to successful completion;
  • Managing design processes to meet client requirements;
  • Reviewing project plans, specifications, costs, and potential construction problems;
  • Ensuring project safety and environmental compliance;
  • Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting;
  • Advising on budget management and options to keep budgets on track;
  • Chairing project/site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors;
  • Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives;

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • RICS, AIQS qualifications with Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or MEP Engineering degree;
  • A strong understanding of cost management principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
