Senior Role
This exciting Senior Cost Manager position involves pre and post contract client facing duties for Real Estate, Defence and Infrastructure projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth.
Key Responsibilities

- Tender analysis experience
- Procurement and contract advisory experience
- Commercial reporting experience
- Variation assessment experience
- Team training and best practice
- Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Chairing project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors
- Engagement with marketing and business development initiatives
Requirements
We are looking for experienced professionals with strong technical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a RICS, AIQS degree with Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or MEP Engineering background.
Package
We offer an attractive package including a salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working hours, health insurance and career development opportunities.
