Documentation Specialist Role Overview

Job Description

We seek a skilled Documentation Specialist to produce high-quality technical documents for projects in the health sector and contact centre environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that meets organisational standards.

The role focuses on producing technical specifications, process documents, and operational guides. We require someone with excellent writing, editing, and communication skills who can work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and subject matter experts to gather and validate content.

This is an opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals working on IT and business transformation projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in IT or business transformation projects.
  • Experience creating technical specifications for solutions involving health sector systems and/or contact centre platforms.
  • Strong ability to understand and document complex systems, workflows, and integrations.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (MS Word, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Annual salary range: 80,000 - 110,000 AUD
