Senior Technical Document Writer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Document Writer to produce high-quality documentation for projects in the health sector and contact centre environments. The role will focus on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical specifications, process documents, and operational guides.
Senior Technical Document Writer, Sydney
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical documents, specifications, and process guides for health and contact centre projects.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and subject matter experts to gather and validate content.
- Ensure documentation meets organisational standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain version control and manage documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the preparation of training materials, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Document Specialist in IT or business transformation projects.
- Experience creating technical specifications for solutions involving health sector systems and/or
- health sector systems and/or contact centre platforms.
- Strong ability to understand and document complex systems, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (MS Word, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in regulated environments (health, government, or finance).
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile delivery, or project management frameworks.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
