Senior Technical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Expert to lead our Platform Engineering initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining complex automation tasks and cloud architecture components for given solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Advocate for DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and cultural practices within our organization and clients.
- Project Management: Assist with estimating work efforts and story pointing required for each phase of an agile project.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, less experienced engineers, and client personnel.
- Risk Identification: Identify, qualify, and raise technical risks and issues.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software engineering and DevOps, particularly in production environments using AWS.
They will also have expertise in configuration management and infrastructure as code, using tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM.
Able to contribute to security-focused engineering practices, including identity and access management, firewall configuration, and fundamental cloud security principles.
Collaborate across cross-functional and technical teams to deliver Agile-based projects.
Demonstrate a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
Use acquired knowledge to solve practical business problems for customers.
Communicate effectively with clients at a business level.
