Technical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous technical documenter with a passion for precision and high-quality output to contribute to creating unique, functional, and beautiful environments across residential, commercial, and public sectors.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of high-end architectural projects from concept to completion through expert documentation and modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce meticulous architectural drawings, specifications, and detailed documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated Revit models for large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to studio standards.
  • Manage and coordinate drawing sets and documentation with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
  • Evaluate and ensure adherence to Australian building codes, standards, and regulations in all documentation.
  • Contribute to the studio's design culture through participation in team discussions and knowledge exchange related to technical documentation.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and resource allocation related to drafting and modelling tasks.
  • Explore emerging trends, technologies, and materials within the Revit ecosystem to stay at the forefront of architectural documentation innovation.
Requirements:
  • A portfolio showcasing large-scale project experience is essential.
  • An Architecture degree is desirable but extensive experience and proven competency in technical documentation, drafting, and Revit modelling for complex projects are highly valued.
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Technical Documenter, Drafter, or Revit Modeller.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing complex models and documentation sets.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts with clarity and confidence.
  • A proven track record of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in effectively managing project timelines related to documentation and modelling.
