Job Opportunity

The company is seeking a skilled Merchandise Planner to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work well under pressure and have experience in merchandising planning. They will also be responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are optimized, creating stock allocations, and working closely with other teams to achieve sales targets.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in merchandising planning.
  • Excellent financial and numerical acumen.
  • Solid analytical capabilities.
  • Intermediate or higher knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience with BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure optimum stock levels in stores for customers.
  2. Develop and implement warehouse inventory purchasing plans based on future sales forecasts.
  3. Review product sales and stock performance, recommending actions to capitalize on opportunities.
  4. Achieve critical financial targets including sales, stock turn, sell thru and margin.
