Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at sass & bide. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for creating and implementing PR and marketing strategies that align with our brand DNA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture PR relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
  • Support the development of PR plans to support our brand's annual plans and objectives.
  • Analyse metrics of PR initiatives and activities to ensure maximum impact.
  • Manage external PR consultants on all PR activity, including event planning and organisation.
  • Create and maintain editorial lists, influencer and KOL databases, and sample trackers.

Brand Marketing

  • Assist with the pre and post-production of seasonal photoshoots and extra content shoots.
  • Develop strong EDM and SEO optimization strategies to support our seasonal comms plan.
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and perform market research to stay relevant in the market.
  • Support the development of marketing strategies to increase awareness, consideration, and drive sales.

Retail Marketing

  • Prepare marketing collateral for in-store marketing activity, including new store openings and exits.
  • Manage local area marketing activity and monitor opportunities.
  • Be the first point of contact for Myer and David Jones marketing teams.
  • Liaise with shopping centre stylists to provide samples for campaign launches, fashion shows, and VM displays.

Social Media

  • Populate topline social media activity into the marketing calendar.
  • Work with the graphics team on assets required for external partners' social media channels.
  • Support the Group Social Media Manager in executing influencer partnerships for paid collaborations and gifting-only initiatives.

Requirements

  • Marketing or Communications degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in PR and/or marketing, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Strong focus on developing and sustaining collaborative and productive relationships.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
