Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced leader to head our culinary operations in Melbourne. As a senior team member, you will oversee all culinary and operational functions within a high-volume commercial kitchen.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and represent objectives for the Culinary Operations
  • Provide direction for Culinary team members
  • Mentor and lead kitchen managers, including Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
  • Oversee operational and service delivery activities
  • Ensure accuracy of recipes and menus prepared to airline customer standards
  • Plan and forecast manpower requirements
  • Manage cost of goods and labour
  • Lead continuous improvement agenda aligned to customer service requirements
  • Develop Culinary staff with feedback, performance evaluations, and skill development opportunities
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives
