This is a part-time position for a Primary Specialist Teacher (Health/STEM) at a co-educational independent K-12 Christian institution.
- Develop and implement learning sequences that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Support the spiritual, emotional, and academic growth of students through effective teaching practices.
Applicants must be practicing Christians who are actively involved in their local church and can subscribe to the School's Mission Statement and Educational Creed.
Registration with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and a current Working with Vulnerable People (Employment) Card are required.
The ideal candidate will have relevant knowledge, skills, and understanding based on the Australian Curriculum and the School's published curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach from a Biblical worldview.
- Design learning activities that interest, motivate, and extend all students.
- Establish and maintain a supportive and safe classroom learning community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board.
