Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our multidisciplinary group, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans. Your primary focus will be on helping individuals return to work safely and efficiently, while also providing support and guidance throughout the recovery process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans to facilitate safe return to work
  • Collaborate with employers and employees to identify and address workplace hazards and barriers
  • Provide education and training on injury prevention and workplace safety
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients

Required Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will possess a strong foundation in occupational rehabilitation principles and practices. You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as physiotherapy or exercise physiology, and hold current professional registration or accreditation. Previous experience working in the occupational rehabilitation industry is highly regarded.
