The roles and responsibilities of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.

Training

We deliver restraint and other training to our employees and contractors, specific to working in various environments.

Operational Compliance

We ensure all security officers are compliant with our requirements and Customer Service Level Agreements. We liaise with management and clients to conduct investigations of incidents, injuries or any other events at site. We assist management with resolving issues on site and conducting disciplinary action for minor breaches.

Employee Engagement

We identify training and development needs, provide employees with feedback and recognition, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. We achieve a positive employee relations environment where employees are engaged and motivated.

Key Responsibilities

We conduct regular site visits, ensuring Site Operating Procedures are updated and maintained. We promote customer service by providing courteous and helpful assistance to client enquiries. We ensure prompt attention is given to any customer dissatisfaction by communicating to the relevant Manager. We report and recommend solutions for non-compliances detected which may affect the quality of service provided.

Requirements

We require all security officers to be correctly uniformed and licensed. We deliver uniforms to sites as and when required. We promote customer service by providing courteous and helpful assistance to client enquiries. We ensure all mandatory training modules are completed.
