Our Organisation is seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for assessing reports of alleged child maltreatment, conducting investigations, and developing plans to ensure the safety and stability of children.
About the Role:
- You will receive and assess reports of alleged child maltreatment, working with various professionals to gather information and make informed decisions.
- Your investigative work will involve conducting thorough assessments, identifying potential risks, and developing effective plans to mitigate these risks.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and referring cases to relevant community service organisations when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely and thorough assessments of reports, using your expertise to identify potential issues and develop appropriate responses.
- Develop and implement effective case plans, working closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible and understood by stakeholders.
