Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians and support staff
- Establish best practice processes for emergency services
- Communicate effectively with the team, ensuring a positive work environment
- Manage department finances to achieve growth targets
- Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying areas for growth
- Mentor junior team members, promoting professional development
Requirements:
- Veterinary degree registrable in New South Wales
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a 24/7 emergency and specialty care hospital
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
