Are you passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to live independent and fulfilling lives?
We are seeking a Casual Bike Coach to join our team in delivering safe and enjoyable cycling activities, including the use of e-bikes. As a Casual Bike Coach, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their personal fitness and mobility goals.
This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while developing your skills and experience in coaching and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting Clients: Help clients learn safe cycling techniques and using e-bikes, empowering them to engage more actively in their local community.
- Facilitating Participation: Encourage and facilitate participation in outdoor activities to enhance physical fitness and independence.
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance in building self-confidence and developing skills for daily life and mobility.
- Creating Inclusive Environments: Create a supportive and inclusive space that adapts to each individual's needs and goals.
- Qualifications: A relevant qualification in coaching, mentoring, or a similar field.
- Screening Checks: An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
- Driver's License: A valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive or third-party property damage insurance.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a coaching, mentoring, or similar role.
- Passion for Outdoor Activities: A passion for outdoor activities, fitness, and promoting an active lifestyle.
- E-Bike Experience: Experience in using e-bikes and cycling coaching.
- Sign Language: Basic knowledge of sign language and ability to communicate using sign language.
