Vendor Master Data Specialist Job SummaryThis role offers a unique opportunity to join our procurement excellence team as a Vendor Master Data Specialist. With an initial 6-month assignment, this position also has the potential for extension or permanency.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and preferably possess knowledge of SAP and Ariba systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this position.Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and validate requests for new vendor creation or reactivation
  • On-board and off-board vendors through the Ariba and SAP systems
  • Support vendors in using Ariba
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues or exceptions to assist the vendor or liaise with SAP Ariba or Synergy's technology resources
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and errors in Ariba and SAP
  • Engage and influence vendors to ensure they understand and feel supported in Synergy's onboarding process
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for relevant SAP/Ariba enhancements or fixes
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ariba systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
