Vendor Specialist Role in Government Trading Entity | 6 Months and Potential Extension

This well-known Government Trading Enterprise is seeking a Vendor Master Data Specialist to join their procurement excellence team. With an initial 6-month assignment, this role also offers the potential for extension or permanency.

**Your new role**

Within this position, you will be responsible for:

- Receiving and validating requests for new vendor creation or reactivation
- On-boarding and off-boarding of vendors through the Ariba and SAP systems
- Supporting vendors in the use of Ariba
- Investigating and troubleshooting issues or exception, to either assist the vendor or to liaise with SAP Ariba or Synergy's technology resources.
- Identifying and resolving data quality issues and errors in Ariba and SAP
- Engaging and influence vendors to ensure they understand and feel supported in Synergy's onboarding process
- Conduct user acceptance testing for relevant SAP/Ariba enhancements or fixes

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to succeed, you will have prior experience in a similar role, and ideally have previously used SAP and Ariba. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**What you'll get in return**
