AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the global infrastructure, managing and improving colocation infrastructure availability and technical risk management. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the development of global lessons learnt strategies, review and inspect root cause analysis, and lead discussions on corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop global incident management processes through emergency calls participation and report contribution. Implement lessons learned using 5 whys methodology.
  • Review site/equipment failures and lead discussions on corrective actions. Directly support operational issues escalations including on-call event support.
  • Contribute to regular colocation availability reporting for senior leadership.
  • Define corrective global program implementation through strategic action plans and workflows development. Mentor regional teams.
  • Provide technical direction for single point of failure programs, including availability strategies and remediation designs approval.
  • Participate in infra project reviews and approvals, including deviation endorsement and documentation review.
  • Handle technical escalations on first-of-a-kind design features and projects. Provide site-level availability recommendations globally.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, including colo regional engineering training and mentoring activities.
