Job Overview

The role of Senior Data Center Infrastructure Availability Engineer is a critical position that involves working on complex infrastructure and availability engineering challenges.

This includes developing strategies for incident management, reviewing and inspecting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and leading discussions for corrective actions related to site/equipment failures.

Additionally, the candidate will contribute to regular Colocation availability reporting for senior leadership and define corrective global program implementation through strategic action plans, workflow development, and mentoring of regional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop global lessons-learned strategies through incident management processes.
  • Review and technically inspect Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead discussions for corrective actions related to site/equipment failures.
  • Contribute to regular Colocation availability reporting for senior leadership.
  • Define corrective global program implementation through strategic action plans, workflow development, and mentoring of regional teams.
  • Provide strategic technical direction for the SPOF (Single Point of Failure) program.
  • Participate in Infra Project reviews and approvals, including deviation endorsement and documentation review.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Three or more years experience in infrastructure and availability engineering in data centers.
  • Three or more years experience in incident management and problem-solving, risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Experience with end-to-end project delivery, preferably in large colocation infrastructure projects.
