Electrical Design Lead Position

The successful candidate will oversee and manage electrical engineering design projects across various industrial and infrastructure sectors.

This leadership role involves technical supervision, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure all designs meet performance, compliance, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality electrical designs for commercial and industrial installations.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and documentation using electrical CAD software.
  • Maintain design quality through adherence to company procedures and peer reviews.
  • Conduct and review electrical studies, including load flow, fault level, arc flash, and voltage drop analysis.
  • Provide input into project scoping, estimating, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure integrated design outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in heavy industry sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems, equipment specifications, and design practices.
