About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our team at Basketball Northern Territory (BNT). As the CEO, you will be responsible for driving the growth of basketball in the Northern Territory, providing quality services to all Territorians, and reporting to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of dedicated sports administrators to provide services throughout the Northern Territory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the sport of basketball in the Territory.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, including government agencies and community groups.
  • Manage budgets, finances, and administrative tasks associated with running a small business.
  • Ensure governance compliance, acquittal reporting, and identification of new revenue streams.
  • Oversee high-performance pathways, training, player and official insurance, remote development, junior participation, and major events.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sports Management or Business.
  • Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
