Highway Maintenance Specialist

You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, from sealing activities using plant equipment to undertaking road maintenance duties, which may include pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance and small and heavy patching works.

This role requires you to work in high-speed, high-volume traffic environments and travel to various regional and remote work locations. You'll need to hold relevant certifications/licenses, such as a White Card and current driver's licence.

As a Highway Maintenance Specialist, you'll be part of a team that delivers quality results and requires great communication skills. You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 level or related civil construction labouring experience.

We're looking for a practical thinker who can learn quickly and is comfortable working outdoors with hand tools and equipment. The successful candidate will live within a 100 km radius to the depot and be prepared to work outside normal hours when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seal roads and highways using plant equipment
  • Undertake road maintenance duties, including pavement repairs and road corridor maintenance
  • Work in high-speed, high-volume traffic environments

Requirements:
